We had a fantastic Roman Day! We played Roman games, made mosaics, did Roman maths and writing and even had a Roman banquet. Everyone got dressed up in Roman outfits, which really added to the theme of the day!

We had a great time learning some yoga stretches. The E-Safety information was very useful, the Mister Shapeshifter play was a fun, but informative way of passing on a message about keeping ourselves safe online. During the well-being session we looked at why a balanced diet, and a good night's sleep, is essential for us to learn and grow.

Thank you to everyone who has worn red and donated to this great cause, helping children less fortunate than themselves. Over £400 raised. Well done.

We've had a great day in our fabulous costumes. 

We were visited by P.C. Bingham on Monday, linked to our crime and punishment topic. We found out lots of interesting facts about modern day policing, and even had chance to see inside a police vehicle.

Thank you to the parents who have already returned their time request sheets. If you haven't had one yet, please ask your child to check their bag!

Don't forget to allow time to check out the corridor displays of our wonderful work: War Horse poetry, letters from the trenches and art work, story blanket and Stephen Wiltshire inspired cityscape(outside the former ICT suite).

Our Story Blanket is now completed; it will be on display in the Y6 corridor before being put to good use in our reading areas.
