This afternoon in art, we made our Christmas Wreaths. We used different shades of green tissue paper for the holly leaves and red tissue paper for the holly berries. Class 7, really enjoyed collaging this afternoon.

Class 7's sandwich creationsHere are some of the sandwiches we designed in class. There are some traditional ones alongside some rather unique fillings. I'm not sure I will be trying the ham and jam anytime soon!!!
SandwichesFollowing on from our bread making yesterday today's activity was to deconstruct sandwiches.
We found there was more to a sandwich than just bread and ham. There were different types of bread such as wholemeal, White, granary, wraps. And the fillings were even more surprising. We found red onion, peppers, sweet corn, cress, duck, chilli along with the more traditional fillings of egg, ham, cheese and egg. Bread makingWell what a fabulous morning we have had.
Janet from Warburtons Wakefield came to visit us. She showed us how bread is made. Then we were lucky enough to make our own loaves. |
