This afternoon we recreated the famous Swaledale sheep used as the symbol of the Yorkshire Dales. We used pastels and blended them for a soft effect.
After looking at a range of leaflets and brochures we created our own based on Yorkshire sea side towns.
Some of our children played for the Old Earth Cricket Team against other schools in Elland. They did great in their first tournament winning one game but losing two.
We had a wonderful day dressed as evacuees. Mr T added to our already impressive knowledge and although rationing was in full force we still had a tasty lunch. What did you learn from Mr T theARP warden?
