Today we learnt how to paint with watercolours. We used a selection of brushes and learnt to mix typical Lowry sludgy colours.

Thank you for all your change which we used to cover Pudsey. It might take us a very long time to count it all!
In assembly today we were presented with a certificate and card from the PTFA thanking us for our Enterprise fundraising at the fireworks event. It made us feel very proud.
Today we met the artist Talya, she is an illustrator. We looked at the painting"Coming from the mill" and discussed the colors, mood and the figures. Then we did some warm up drawing, we had to draw animals with our eyes closed and worked in pairs with squiggles. "I really enjoyed the lesson I can't wait for next week!"
Year 4 have been busy making ginger biscuits and chocolate apples to sell at the school firework display tonight. Please come along and buy one or two! |
