Jubilee Day - 27th May 2012

The sun was shining, the bunting was flapping and the crowds gathered as Old Earth opened it's gates for the Queens Jubilee celebrations.   

The event was proudly supported by the Community Foundation for Calderdale's Diamond Jubilee Grant.  We were very pleased to wecome Steve Duncan the CEO of the Foundation and his wife. 

The PTFA worked very hard to put this day together and could not have done it without the support of:

Queensbury Scouts, The William Henry Smith School, Belly Busters and AMD Discos.  

We were delighted to see so many govenors, staff, children, former pupils and members of the local community coming to support our event.

The finals of Old Earth's got Talent

The judges had a very tough job choosing the winner of this fantastic competition.  The talent seemed endless with comedians, singers, a keyboard player and even a beat boxer. Click on the photo to see the entrants perform.  I'm sure you will agree Old Earth certainly has got talent.
